Lexie started Kindergarten this august.During her check up at the doctors.They discovered that she needed glasses.We went straight to the opticians & she needed glasses.her is Lexie with her glasses & first day of school.

May 18th I went into the ER @ 6:00am & by 2pm they decided I was going to be staying & having my Gallbladder out,either that evening or the next morning.The next morning I had my gallbladder out.Apparently it was only functioning at 4% .I cam out of hospital on the 20th. Lexie's birthday.Daddy quickly had to wrap presents, Lexie thought her birthday had been cancelled.We limped through the day .

Lexie had so much fun in the water with daddy.

She was soaked by the end of it.

Halloween was obviously Oct 30th in Utah

Lexie wanted to be a Zebra.I made her bag for her that day in about 30 mins.

Daniel wasn't to sure about being scooby doo.But once he realised he got candy he soon understood.

Lexie found a Zebra chair at the mall, she looked so cute.

This was at the ward trunk a treat after the mall.

Well a lot has being going on since Daniel was born, so i will try to summerise just to catch us up.

March i had my 33rd birthday, enough said about that lol.
May 20th Lexie turned 4 he are pictures of her cake i made her.

Just over a week after Lexie's birthday i ended up in ER & found out i had miscarried our 3rd baby. I was 10 1/2 weeks and was due to have a scan at the doctors the next day but they scanned me that night & found out the baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks. The rest of that week was mostly a blur.

Here are some pics of Daniel and Lexie throughout the year.

Here we are all chillaxing in the pool since it was so hot.

These pictures were taken in July, I love the last one where Daniel is Putting up with Big Sister Kissing him.
Then the big news in July. We found out we were expecting again. Kent also got offered a transfer to Hurricane after 2 years of commuting.
Aug Kent finally was back home for good.We saw the baby's heartbeat at 6 weeks.
Sept saw us reach our 7th wedding anniversary.

I know call me crazy last weekend we spent the weekend getting haircuts for a $1. I know bargin queen i am . Finally Painting the master bathroom i lovely bluey/green colour.It's now very soothing.

This was before i did the top coat.

So we nearly killed ourself's doing that. Bought a fab new mirror on clearance for the living room.(Way to go down east basics) Used some good old british charm & got him to drop the price.
Sunday was stake conference.That meant no extra rest. I was so tired by the end of sunday. I am so Glad kent has mondays at home , well he doesnt leave to go up north till tea-time.
Monday was prenatal. I am officially booked in to have baby jensen on the 30th nov.9 days early due to high blood pressure & kent being away for work.So we are really excited only 19 days to go unless he comes sooner.
Monday afternoon after the docs & chriopractor to try to fix my back.We went to albertsons.I love doulble off coupons .
With the deals of spend $30 get $15 back.Which i had done twice & used coupons i got a ton of stuff for less than $4.
Thats two large tides.a pack of always pads , i had $2 off them.A free herbal essence shampoo.Buy one get one free on a herbal essence product.Some halloween candy on 75% off.some sausages for $4 .
Use my $30 in free coupons, used all my manufactors coupons & my double offs & it was less than $4. I was happy.Thats what i call killer deals. I love coupons, can you tell.
On top of all that it would have been my Mums 63rd birthdayso i was trying to deal with that too.
So it was a very busy weekend.now i am just trying to rest.Well as much as you can with a 3 year old .

Halloween

This year was the first true year Lexie understood

what to do for Halloween.

Here is our little 3 year old.

first time our ward had held a trunk or treat in several years.

It was lovely hot evening in St George.It was high 70's.

After the trunk or treat we went to zion's outlets.

They were giving out candy.She loved that.It's amazing how quick kids

learn about candy.She always said thankyou & Happy Halloween.

She is just so polite, she is a scream with it.

After that we went and ate & then went trick or treating.It was one full evening.

Missionary Reunion like none other.

So back at the end of march(before i knew i was expecting)

We had a missionary reunion at our house.

This was the two missionarys who baptized our family

back in Dec 78,I was only 9 months old,

when we joined the church.

One missionary is from Australia.

The other missionary is from Rosservelt Utah.

6th Wedding Anniversary.

So our 6th wedding anniversary landed on a sunday.

It was also a family reunion weekend.

With Kent working away we couldn't

make any other day but sunday.

So we went to church.Sorry i never took any pics.

Where we were sealed for all Time & Eternity.

So i just want to take a moment in saying how

amazing & awesome my husband is.

He has been commuting for a year now,with the job

situation in St George.I am so proud of

what he does 4 1/2 days a week(leaving us) so that he can

provide.We pray for the economy to get better,

so he can transfer back down here.

I love my husband so dearly.We have had an amazing

6 years .It has been a rollercoaster at times.

But we make it through. I love you Kent Jensen

Sept 5th.As you can tell i was so tired

& hot.Hence the no make up & it's look.

My darling husband provided some entertainment

on the violin afterwards.

He has such an incredible talent.

He can just pick his Violon up & play.He remembers all

So I guess besides Lexie's Birthday, I haven't blogged at all

since being Pregnant.This baby has taken it out of me lol.

Literally I have lost 25lbs since being pregnant.

So a few little bits of info.

Baby is a BOY.

Yes we are excited, & so is Lexie.

Yes we have a name but that's a secret until he is born.

If you have been told. Then HUSH!!!!!

I am due officially on the 9th dec.But will likely be
induced on the...30th Nov/1st dec.
We will find out next monday.Unless of course
little lad decideds to appear sooner.

Kent still works up north & commutes every week.

So please pray for us, thaty baby will come on
a weekend or allow him time to get here!!!!!

Delivering in an American hospital will be different.

I took one test & wanted to make sure the result was correct. I went & bought some more. So a total of 4 tests was taken.It's offical I am Pregnant.We went & had a blood test taken also.I am 6 weeks pregnant.Lexie is so excited she is going to be a big sister .Kent & I are just thrilled.

So for Valentine's Day we went to Red Robin a new reasturant in town.

They are a great family place & in expensive.

So we decided to all go as a family.

In January we discovered this new kids place, called Jumpin Jacks.I am not sure who had the most fun .Kent or Lexie. They will let parents go on the inflatables as well.(as long as you pay for them) I saw lots of other daddy's & they all looked like "the cat that got the cream".When we took Lexie it was a very wet day. Which is rare normally for St George .But we have had alot of rain & snow lately. So it was a good time to take Lexie & let her burn off some energy .She had been sick earlier that week , so she was so excited to do something fun. Here are some of the pics i took.

So January has not been so much fun.We went to celebrate my dad's 68th birthday & ended up with food poisioning. Then the week before that kent had a tire blowout on his journey up to slc for work.A huge blessing was the fact it didn't happen on the freeway.
My only fun this month was shopping in Target's 75% off toy sale. I managed to get all Lexie's toys for Birthday & Christmas for this year. That was a huge blessing. I also went to Old Navy's sale & got fabulous deals on some clothes for her, since she is growing like a weed.
Feb so far has seen haircuts for us all & taxes submitted,Yes i am so glad that is done.I am so proud of myself as this year we did taxes online , with help from my friend Alice.
So now we can sit back & enjoy the rest of feb.

Who knew you could have a graham cracker stable!!

On Sunday the 21st december Lexie made a Graham cracker stable. I am in Primary & we had no idea they were going to do this. It turned out so cool.They had premade/set the stable first so the kids just added the candy.Hopefully i will get copies of the pics from actually in nursery .This is the pics when we got home.We were on the 11 am schedule so by the time we got in by 3 pm she was done!!!

A Day in Las Vegas

We decided to go to Las Vegas

the saturday before christmas & when BYU was playing @ las vegas .I know stupid!!

Vegas wasn't that busy.We had a fab time in Caesar's Palace ,We saw the atlantis show & had our pic taken in front of Pegasus .The wooden horse was 2 storys high & it had a lift in it .It was a toy shop & evey so often the horses head would light up & move. Lexie thought it was all magic.

A fabulous day was had by all.

Most of you will know St George DOES NOT GET SNOW, EVER!!!! This was a rare accurance. so much so i stayed up till 2 am watching the snow lay & to take pics. Lexie & I Built a snowman & St George Looks lovely with a dusting of snow.

Living away

The things we sometimes have to do for our families. It's so tough having to travel 340 miles each way Monday and Friday and stay with a brother in between those days while working. It's just not the same sleeping in a strange bed four nights a week, and only being able to talk by phone and then only after work is over. At least the trip back down seems shorter as I eagerly anticipate an eager greeting from the wife and daughter as I step through the door upon arrival in St. George. How prepared am I; what won't I do for my two favorite people in the world? On Monday I ended up going through three big storms. The first one began ten miles south of Cedar City and I didn't emerge til fifteen miles north of Cove Fort. I had a near spin-out on the notorious black ice and the snow sometimes being so blinding that sometimes I limped along at 20 mph til I finally could see a bit further down the road. I went through two more storms around Filmore and Nephi before hitting clear sailing at Santaquin. What a trip!! Now you see why we want to sell; to avoid this crazy commute! This is much more meaningful work and the hours are better so we can plan events better, but we still face the big "S" obstacle. I love my wife and daughter and miss them while I'm away. Prayers aren't the same over the phone. I pray every day we can all soon live in this new location. Oh, to all of you Wal-mart shoppers out there, when you buy something just remember who may have loaded it onto the truck that delivered it to your local store.

This year we were lucky that Kent was able to be here for Thanksgiving Dinner & him not to have to work at all. He was home for 5 days.That was wonderful.

Dad really enjoyed thanksgiving also.We watched the Macy's parade ,Lexie thought that was wonderful.

To burn off some energy.Kent & I went out Thursday evening at about 10pm & stayed out all night , trying to get all the best deals in town. It was fun , but walmart was crazy.Don't know if i would go again!!!

I wanted to Dedicate this to my husband Kent. On sunday he leaves to start a new job nearly 400 miles away & will be away normally on 4 1/2 days a week. So this is to my amazing husband.

1. Where did you meet?
How technical do we want to get here.Technically we met online, Chatted for the first time on Valentines day for 8 hrs.Then met end of April at Salt Lake City Airport. With the smith family in tow.

2.How long did you date before you were married?

We started chatting in the jan, phones feb onwards & married Sep 6th .So 8 months?
Which is a really long time when it's long distance.We have now been married just over 5 years.

4. What does he do that surprises you?
Everything/nothing lol joking. My husband is a sweetheart.He will run me a long hot bubble bath when he knows i am tired. Do a load of laundry .Gives me a back massage, he is very sweet & loving.

5. What is your favorite feature of his?
He has a gorgeous smile & beautiful eyes. I think he is a very handsome chap for a man of his age.

6. What is your favorite quality of his?
He is so so so patient and I'm not always so good at been paitent, so it really calms me down.
7. Does he have a nickname for you?
Honey.
8. Does he have a favorite colour?
He likes blue the best,he is a very loyal Cougars Fan .
9. What is his favorite food?
This is kent if i listed everything i would be here all night.He loves all types , he is a true meat eater & loves mexican & Proper pizza(He has said that so many times since being back here from England,I guess English pizza's didnt hit the mark.)

10. What is his favorite sport?
He loves to watch football, especially BYU. He dragged me to a game when i first went over to meet him.& It was a very very cold april night.He took no blankets. After 3 hours of freezing to death, i said it's me or the Cougares.He reluctantly came with me. LOL

11. When was your first kiss?
Well, It was SLC airport .I know 10 mins off a plane lol .

12. Favorite thing to do as a couple?Well we don't do too much alone, Movies, reasturant, shopping etc

13. Do you have any children?
Yes 1 lovely Daughter aged 2 called Lexie. A dog called Millie,thats 18 months old & My dad , does all that count !!!!!!!
14. Does he have a hidden talent?
He is an ace violin/fiddler.He plays/Fiddles so fast people can not believe how fast his fingers are really going.
15. How old is he?He will be 43 in 2 weeks
16. Who said I love you first?I'm not sure, I think it was both of us at the same time.

17. What's his favorite music?Classical, John Denver, Disney, Les Miserables & other great shows.

18. What do you admire most about him?He's such a great husband and wonderful father.

He is sacrificing time with us right now to strat a new job until we can go be with him. He will come home on weekends. But it's almost 400 miles away.He is an awesome Guy.He's all mine.

Costco Christmas Dresses

So i am a huge lover of the Costco Christmas dresses that are $20 i think by the time u add tax.Anyways this is a 4t because the age 3 was tiny .Trust me in 4-5 weeks it will probably be about right. I had to take some pics for my sister because she wants to see what it looks like to get one.LOL Anyways so Lexie was modeling for me today .

Root Canal's Ohhh the Pain

So the last few weeks i have been quite.Literally!!! I had a root canal done almost two weeks ago. & i had to go back a week later for them to do more .The temp top they had done they had to change for a better cap. So i have been in pain until the last few days.Particullary since she didnt give me pain relief the 2nd time & so when i came out the dentist i was really sore. She gave some antibotics & i feel much better now.Hence i am catching up on my blog.

Anniversary of 5 years

This was only my 2nd once since i have been here. But there are Lovely.

In England when you get married you first have to get married in Church, because Parliment will not allow a close door policy wedding.So we had the Wedding.Reception.Photos.Then drove very quickly to Preston Temple for a 6:30 pm Sealing .It was a Beautiful Day.It only drizzled slightly.Kent also sang to me at the reception.The BYU Cougar Fight Song.Go Cougars since it's football season again.I can not believe it has been 5 years.They have flown . We love one another & Value our time we have together on this earth & then Forever in the Eternities.

Lots of Sun & Water fun had by all. Besides all the fun we had pushing cars that got stuck in the sand that day. We got stuck twice , we all did a good deed by helping some guy from Ohio who got stuck & we managed to get him out . Brett,Scott & Ben got stuck .The sand was just way too soft this year .It helps if people like us find their 4 wheel drive button when they are stuck not after the event :P .Oh well we know for next year.

Pine Valley Ward Trip

So Last Night (Friday) we went out to Pine Valley about 45 mins from St George. It 's a small town way out in the boonies. (Middle of nowhere) We went for a tour round the LDS Chapel there.Kents ancestors on his maternal line helped build the church.So we took the offical photo of him outside the chapel with lexie. Pics further down are of the kids playing with bubbles & just playing. It was lovely & cool up in the mountains ,it was 20 degrees cooler than St George. We had an a lovely rain storm that last for 20 mins with hail!!!!! but everything dried up quickly .Steam was coming off the roads(i didnt take a pic ,i should have) thats how warm it was .On the way home was the most gorgeous sunset. as seen below.Enjoy!!

This is a picture taken of my mum 6 months before she passed away at age 59 years old. My mum was in hospital for 8 weeks & then died. After the did an Post mortum we found out she had Bladder Cancer.To far spread to fix. She also had a very rare disease called Retro Peritinial Fibrosis (rpf) She also picked up a blood infection in hospital. So the Lord was telling us it trully was her time to go home. She did manage to see her latest Grandchild,Lexie.The doctors induced me at 9:30 pm on fri evening & Lexie was born at 5:45 am sat morning. I was discharged from hospital at 11:30 am & went straight to see my mum.She got to spend time with her on the sat & sunday.After that my mum was in & out of conciousness. My mum was a wonderful example to me & my family .She had such faith & wasn't afraid to go back home. We Love you Mum .

So we have been in our house 13 months Today.WOW how time flies .Our house is a 1975 bi level house. When we bought the house .The kitchen & bathrooms were the origional.But in Very Bad shape. We had to gut them totally.So we have a new kitchen & 3 new bathrooms. We are always working on little jobs in the house.But we LOVE what we have done so far.I have included a few pics before & afters.

So in June we went to Heber City, Utah .To visit with my dear friend Alice .Alice is a photographer & since Lexie was 2years old 3 weeks before that, it was an ideal time to get some new professional photos of her. I can not believe Lexie is now two years old. It has been two years since my mum passed away. She died 4 days after Lexie was born .This has tested me & i am growing stronger everyday.My Dad has really stepped up & taken a fuller roll as a grandpa now. I know my mum was needed back home.

The Terrible or Terrific Two's

So today i took Lexie into a shop with me , normally Lexie is in her buggy (Stroller) or has reins on her,since i figured we wouldnt be long it would be fine, since they didnt have any carts there. Ohhh man was i mistaken 10 mins into being in their meltdown happened , she kept screaming & running off ,crying for no reason,squealling at the top of her voice & not listening to a word i said , I was so hot & frustrated i just wanted to get out of there, which normally i am a calm person. Everyone kept turning to look. I was like his is a kids clothes shop, Get a Life people!!

Anyways i finally got to the till & the lady on the checkout was like ohh are you just visiting. I said no i have lived her for over a year.She then made me laugh & said oh well in that case you must want one of our store cards. i was like no thanks i dont shop here very often. LOL i wanted to say only when your stuff is dirt cheap!!!
So once she had rung me up i was so glad to got out of there. I will never take lexie in a shop without her being in her buggy, on daddys shoulder , who was at work or in reins. Grandpa just waited outside.(Men ) lol .
